warm weather, and the week that every single person opens their pool.
which just so happens to be this week.
being tan, even though it does come with some pretty cute sock tan lines from track, is just about my favourite thing ever.
having 6 days of classes left is another one of my favourite things.
planning abductions of ms. ridiculous with ali is yet another one of my favourite things.

it is THE MOST irritating thing ever.
my life is a little bit ridiculous. it was brought to my attention today by ali that everyone confides in me. I have become a mine of personal information pertaining to so many different people.
I sort of like it though. it's comforting, knowing people feel like they can confide in me.

so.
i have acquired a few wonderful and not so wonderful things
1. FAT. it's terrible. and gross
2. a prom date, and he's really cuuuute :-D
3. an ipod... and it's lovely and gorgey and i loooooove it
4. achilles tendonitis. it is horrible.
5. the ability to go into a bridge from standing... as i discovered the other day at track.
6. a terrible memory - i keep leaving everything behind everywhere
7. an even worse temper than before because of prom frustration.

so last tuesday night i went to the premiere of Kinky Boots, which was AMAZING.
and the after party was also a lot of fun :-D
i met chiwetel ejiofor, who played the man married to keira knightley's character in "love actually", and kenneth cole. *sigh*
then, wednesday, i handed in a 28 page paper.... granted, it was only 17 pages of text (i say only but it's the longest thing i've ever written) on andy warhol, robert rauschenberg, and roy lichtenstein and their influences from and on the economy in the late 50s early 60s. oh yea and on 9 april, i talked on the phone to irving blum, the man who initially discovered warhol. so exciting!! but i'm just generally glad it's over with.
wednesday night went to a seder at jo's and decided i was going to keep kosher for passover... slept at alyssa's thursday, went to the gym friday morning and then visited val, who is due to foal in less than a month!!!
today was such a lovely day. i love warm weather. |

1. was woken up by a phone call from my favourite, even though she wakes me up every single day of my life.
1 1/2. decided she is going to take me to the beach as soon as it gets warm
2. slobbed around in pajamas until 5 minutes before my violin lesson
3. had a good violin lesson
4. came home and slobbed for 45 minutes
5. went to work and did nothing because i finished my assignments early
6. went shopping!!!!!! got looooootsssssss of pretty things
7. came home and ate wonderful dinner
8. messed about online, doing nothing in particular
9. took a lovely long bubble bath while listening to bob marley ♥
10. read for awhile, drank tea, ate oranges and creme eggs (not together)
11. listened to more marley and now i'm going to bed
i wish all days could be as satisfying as this |

so.
i was practicing my spanish, trying to figure out how to say my feet are cold.... and i got it mostly right... and then i tried to say yo tengo hambre (i have hunger, literally) and said yo tengo hombre (i have man).
THEN i was talking to Matt about his trip to mexico, where his uncle lives. they went out to dinner one night and his uncle said to the male waiter: te quiero (i want you) instead of yo quiero (i want)... and the waiter said "ooh senor, gracias!!"

1. You will never know how much you disappoint me. There's no way I would ever tell you (obviously) but it hurts so badly every time it happens because you mean so much to me, and I can't help that. Thinking of you makes me laugh remembering but also cry because I miss you so much.
2. I wish you would realize you're gorgeous and stop denying it. Seriously. It gets frustrating and I just want you to believe it from me because you're one of my best friends and I want you to stop being so silly about yourself.
3. I can't believe it bothered me so much. There are still so many things I need to say to you, and just might. I'm not sure what I think of you anymore.
4. Sometimes the little things you do which intially don't seem so huge really make me angry.

i hate that procrastination is all i do. for example, this english powerpoint presentation on Elizabeth I was due last friday.... and I still haven't finished it. I didn't actually start it until today....

i want it to be the weekend. so that i can sleep, and not have to come home early from school, sick, and sleep.
